About the role
Avtal works with collection agencies to power compliant, white-labeled digital outreach and payments across text, email, and self-serve consumer experiences. This role helps clients move from initial usage to real scale on the platform.
Key responsibilities
- Own a set of high-potential accounts through full ramp, not just go-live.
- Define what fully ramped looks like across data coverage, automation, volume, and account freshness.
- Identify what is slowing clients down across operations, data, or internal process and drive resolution.
- Work with client operators and IT teams on SFTP, file formats, ongoing updates, mapping, file structure, and data consistency.
- Move clients from manual or partial processes to reliable, automated data exchange.
- Build relationships with operators, decision-makers, owners, and hands-on technical counterparts.
- Grow usage across account volume, data coverage, and earlier account uploads, tying platform usage to recovery performance and operational efficiency.
- Translate between operational goals and technical execution across multiple systems, teams, and constraints.
- Surface client patterns around onboarding, data, and ramp so product and engineering can improve real-world workflows.
- Take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks, especially when complex or high-impact situations stall.
What we're looking for
- Deep familiarity with collections operations through experience at a collection agency, creditor, or building products used in collections.
- Experience owning B2B client relationships, ideally through a complex integration.
- Comfort engaging both senior stakeholders and hands-on technical counterparts, including conversations about data exchange, file-based integrations, and IT coordination.
- Strong ownership and follow-through.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, unstructured environment.
What success looks like
- Clients ramp quickly, with clear progress on data coverage, automation, and volume.
- Measurable movement on time to second batch of uploads, percentage of the agency's eligible book on Avtal, and time to full penetration.
- Data exchange is set up cleanly and reliably early.
- Clients expand usage in a sustained way that shows up in revenue.
- Complex situations move forward without escalation.
- Product and engineering benefit from clear, actionable client feedback.
Why this role
This is not a traditional portfolio role. The work is focused where it has the most impact: helping clients operationalize a core system in their business while shaping how Avtal scales as a company.
